How to configure the alarm input

Note: According to different alarm inputs, alarm input types include local alarm, network alarm, camera external alarm and camera offline.

Local alarm: When the alarm input port of the device is connecting to the alarm device, also the local alarm is set, the alarm signal will transmit through the alarm

When the incoming port is transferred to the device, the system performs the alarm linkage action.

Network alarm: When the device receives the alarm signal transmitted through the network, the system performs the alarm linkage action.

External Alarm of Camera: After the external alarm device of the camera triggers the alarm, the alarm signal is uploaded to the device through the network, which is enforced by the system.

Camera offline: When the network connection between the device and the camera is disconnected, the system performs the alarm linkage action.

Step 1

      Select Main Menu>Alarm>Alarm-in port

Step 2

      Click the alarm event tab to enable the function and set the alarm information.

Note:  When setting up local alarm, network alarm and camera external alarm, support setting alarm name.

     When setting up local alarm and camera external alarm, support setting alarm device type and alarm name.

Step 3

      Click Settings on the right side of the Clothing Plan to set the clothing period.

Note: After setting the time period, the system can link the corresponding alarm action only when the alarm is triggered within the time period.

Step 5

      Set the de-jitter time.

Note: This option can only be set on the NVR local side.

When there are multiple alarms in the set period of dithering, the system only records one alarm event.

Note: Set the dithering time only when local alarm and camera external alarm are set.

Step 6

      Set alarm linkage action.

Step 7

      Click ok save to settings.
