How to set redundant HDD storage

The setting of redundant disk on video recorder is aimed at the content redundancy of all working disks. When the working disk fails, the video in redundant disk will stop, but the previous video can be kept and can be searched and played back.

Note:When the device connects to more than two hard disks, one of the two hard disks can be set as redundant disk type.

Step 1

Select Main Menu>Storage>Disk manager.

The setting type is changed to redundant disk.

Note:After setting, the device will restart.

Step 2

Select the channel in the schedule and enable redundancy.      

Step 3

      When querying, in the upper right corner of playback, select play from redundant disk.
