1. The image of the thermal imaging device is displayed normally, but the temperature cannot be measured.

The device has not been dual calibrated, please contact relevant technical support.

2. The blackbody and the equipment screen are displayed normally, but the temperature monitoring is inaccurate.

Description:

The thermal imaging device has blackbody, and the pictures of the blackbody and the thermal imaging device are displayed normally, but the temperature monitoring is inaccurate.

Possible Reasons:

  • The continuous running time of thermal imaging equipment and blackbody after being powered on is less than 60 minutes.

The thermal imaging equipment and the blackbody need to be warmed up for 60 minutes after being powered on, and the temperature monitoring before thermal equilibrium will be inaccurate.

  • The adaptive ambient temperature value of the thermal imaging device is not accurate.

Solution:

Step1 After ensuring that the thermal imaging device and the blackbody are continuously running for more than 60 minutes after being powered on, check whether the problem has been resolved.

If it hasn’t been resolved, please continue with the following steps.

Step2 Modify the ambient temperature value of the thermal imaging device.

  1. Log into the web interface of the device.
  2. Select “Setting> Smart Thermal> Temp Monitoring> Others”.
  3. Modify the “Ambient Temp Setting” according to the actual ambient temperature.
  4. Click “Save”.

Step3 Check whether the problem has been resolved.

3. Thermal imaging equipment cannot measure temperature, and the screen display time is 2000

Description:

The screen of the thermal imaging device can be displayed normally, but the device cannot monitor the temperature, and the time in the upper right corner of the screen is displayed as 2000.

Possible reasons:

The main program version of the camera is old, and the license is not valid.

Solution:

Step1 Log into the web interface of the device.

Step2 Synchronize the system time of the camera to the time of the PC.

  1. Select “Setting> System > General> Date&Time”.
  2. Click “Sync PC” and click “Save”.
  3. Check whether the problem has been resolved.

If it hasn’t been resolved, please continue with the following steps.

Step3 Upgrade the main program of the camera.

  1. Contact relevant technical support to obtain the correct version of the upgrade program.
  2. Log into the web interface of the device.
  3. Select “Setting> System > Upgrade”.
  4. Click “Browse”, select the upgrade file (the file with the suffix *.bin, named the same as the program folder name), and click “Upgrade”.
  5. Click “Import”, select the upgrade program, and click “Upgrade”.

After the upgrade, the device will automatically reboot.

Step4 Check whether the problem has been resolved.

4. Sometimes there is no alarm for high temperature

The high temperature alarm limit temperature of different program versions is different. The latest program version supports the setting of high temperature alarm filtering function, the setting method is as follows:

Step1 Log into the web interface of the device.

Step2 Select “Setting> Smart Thermal > Temp Monitoring “.

Step3 According to the actual situation, set the “Temp Upper Limit”.

After the setting is completed, the alarm will be triggered only when the detection temperature is lower than the set “Temp Upper Limit” value.

Step4 Click “Save”.

5. In backlit scene, there is no temperature measurement in the visible light channel

Step1 Log into the web interface of the device.

Step2 Open WDR function.

  1. Select “Setting> Camera > Conditions”.
  2. Choose the visible channel “1”.
  3. Select “Backlight”, select “Mode” as “WDR”, adjust the value of WDR according to the image effect. After the adjustment is complete, ensure that the face in the visible light channel screen is clear.
  4. Check whether the problem has been resolved.

If it hasn’t been resolved, please continue with the following steps.

Step3 Adjust the shutter time.

  1. Select “Setting> Camera > Conditions”.
  2. Choose the visible channel “1”.
  3. Select “Exposure”, select “Mode” as “Shutter Priority”, adjust the “Shutter” value according to the image effect. After the adjustment is complete, ensure that the face in the visible light channel screen is clear.
  4. Check whether the problem has been resolved.

Step4 Switch to thermal imaging channel to detect.

  1. Select “Setting> Smart Thermal > Temp Monitoring> Smart Channel”.
  2. Select “Smart Channel” as “Thermal” and click “Save”.

Step5 Check whether the problem has been resolved.

If it is not resolved, please contact relevant technical support.

6. Only in cold weather, there are lots of missing or lower temperature measurement

Possible reasons:

The temperature of the detection target is unstable.

The outdoor temperature is low in winter. When the detection target enters the room from the outside, the temperature of the target in the cold wind is lower than the real temperature of the body surface. Since the camera has a minimum temperature filtering function, the detection target may be filtered for not meeting the minimum temperature, resulting in missing report.

Solution:

It is recommended that after the detection target enters the room from the outside, stay until the temperature of the forehead and body surface returns to normal before measuring the temperature, which takes 3 to 5 minutes generally.

The temperature of the operating environment of the thermal imaging equipment is required to be 10℃~30℃. Please do not exceed the standard, otherwise it may cause the temperature measurement of the equipment to be inaccurate.

7. The result of the thermal imaging equipment is deviated from that of the thermometer

In the case of standard installation and configuration, if the test result has a deviation of more than 0.5°C, please contact the relevant technical support; if the test result has a deviation of less than 0.5°C, it can be solved by debugging the “Body Temperature Modification”.

Step1 Log into the web interface of the device.

Step2 Select “Setting> Smart Thermal > Temp Monitoring> Compensation Settings”.

Step3 Modify the value of “Human Temperature Modification” according to the actual deviation temperature, and click “Save”.

Step4 Check whether the problem has been resolved.
